PUTHILLS COPSE TREE SURVEYING

ADVANCE NOTICE OF GROUND CLEARANCE WORKS

Old Cleeve Parish Council wishes to advise residents and visitors that ground clearance works at Puthills Copse will commence on Monday 14 September 2026 and are expected to continue for several days.

The works are necessary to allow a detailed survey of the trees within the copse to be undertaken. This forms part of the Parish Council’s ongoing efforts to conserve and enhance Puthills Copse, ensuring that the area can be properly managed for the benefit of the local community and the environment.

Temporary restrictions to access

During the works, it may not be possible to safely use the footpath through the copse. Visitors are therefore advised not to enter Puthills Copse while the works are taking place.

The area may contain machinery, equipment and other hazards associated with the clearance and survey works. If you choose to enter the area despite this advice, you do so entirely at your own risk.

We apologise for any temporary inconvenience this may cause and thank residents and visitors for their cooperation while these necessary works are undertaken.
