Residents and road users are being advised of a number of roadworks and temporary traffic restrictions affecting Washford and Roadwater over the coming weeks.
A39 – Washford
Works on the A39 at Washford are expected to take place in two phases:
21 September to 16 October
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday. There are currently no planned restrictions at weekends.
19 October to 31 October
During the daytime, temporary traffic lights will again be in operation Monday to Friday. In addition, the road will be subject to a full closure overnight between 7.00pm and 6.00am. There are no planned restrictions at weekends.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time for journeys and to follow any temporary traffic management and signed diversion routes.
Roadwater – associated road closures
Separate works are also taking place in Roadwater, affecting:
- Lodge Rocks
- Lodge Rocks to Forches Garden
- Batallers Lane
- Roadwater Road
- Roadwater to the White Horse Pub
These works relate to cabling works being undertaken by Splicetek Communications Ltd on behalf of Openreach.
